The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cote Tete (FR), trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

D.N. Russell, rider of Milsean trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the third last fence which did not effect him but tired on the approach to the final fence and was pulled up.
